About the PTO

Who we are, who is on the board this year, and where to find our meeting minutes and organizing documents.

Who we are

Every parent and every staff member is a member

The Hampstead Hill Academy PTO works with HHA's teachers and staff to provide the best learning experience for all students at the school. To supplement HHA's rich learning environment, the PTO organizes events that build community and also raise funds for school activities.

The money raised has been used to purchase playground supplies and learning materials, as well as for field trips and enrichment activities. Teachers along with all parents and caregivers are members of the PTO.

Funding requests may be made for classroom and afterschool activities by teachers, parents, and students alike. The PTO also keeps a wishlist so teachers can receive items that enrich the classroom, facilitate instruction, or get used by students.

How to reach us

Leave a note in the PTO mailbox in the school's main office, or email HHAPTO@gmail.com. We also answer messages on Facebook and Instagram.

Documents & records

The documents that establish us as an organization are posted on the school's site, and they download without a login.

Treasurer reports and meeting minutes are presented at every PTO meeting, and those meetings are open to everyone. If you want a copy of either, email us and we'll send it.

Need the bylaws, our W-9, or a copy of the minutes? Email HHAPTO@gmail.com and we'll send it. Business sponsors usually need the W-9 to process a payment.

Come to a meeting

PTO meetings are open to everyone and are where budget and funding decisions actually get made. Let us know you're coming so we set out enough chairs — and food.
