Help with fall events
Prefer to help with a specific event? These are the next opportunities.
The HHA Open
Morning (7:15–9:00 a.m.) or mid-round (9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) shifts at Rocky Point. Help with check-in, breakfast, Player Pack sales, the 50/50 raffle, or photos.
BeeFit Color Run
Help October 28 (rain date October 29) at the Patterson Park Annex with color stations, check-in, water, cheering, or cleanup.
There’s more than one way to help
A single task can make a difference. Tell us what works for you; you don't need to sign up for the whole year.
30 minutes
Help prepare materials, hand out flyers, or lend a hand with a short activity.
One shift
Help with check-in, an activity table, or event cleanup.
One task
Design a flyer, contact businesses, take photos, or help with a translation.
An ongoing role
Help plan an event or coordinate a committee with other volunteers.
Good to know
Do I have to be a PTO member?
All HHA families and staff are part of the PTO. There are no membership dues.
Do I need school clearance?
It depends on the role. For work inside the school, follow HHA's sign-in and volunteer procedures. Check with the organizer or main office about your shift.
Can I help if I prefer Spanish?
Yes. There are many ways to pitch in, and we welcome help from Spanish-speaking families.
Can I bring my kids?
Some events are family-friendly, but roles and spaces vary. Ask the organizer before bringing children to your shift.
